I come to coaching from a place of personal growth and learning and my desire to support others to have a life that is full of fulfillment and possibilities. I am a dynamic executive with over twenty-five years working in the industry of education as a science educator, consultant, professional coach, and executive director of a non-profit.

I grew up in Chicago, IL, earned a BA at the University of Vermont, MA at Webster University in MO, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Social Change from Fielding Graduate Institute in CA. After serving two years as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army, I married a career military physician and began moving every two years or less for the next twelve years.

I have also reared three phenomenal young adults who are living their passions. As a mother I have dealt with one child who is exceptionally academically gifted, another who is a gifted athlete and a third who is exceptionally creative and also dyslexic. Two of these children are also ADHD. I have become somewhat of an expert on managing learning differences in children and the educational system. As a mother I have also lived through all the stages: infants, toddlers, 'tweens," adolescents, and young adult. Each has its complementary stage in parenthood.

My passions, in addition to inspiring others, include hanging out with my husband, 4 adult children, their spouses and my four grandchildren, traveling the world, and my two "children" who live at home: Chadwick, a golden retriever and Zak, a Newfoundland.
